Melody memory
Learn four pad sounds, then reproduce a melody that grows by one note each round.
How to play
The circle is pad 1, the lowest sound. The triangle is pad 2, lower middle; the square is pad 3, upper middle; and the diamond is pad 4, highest. Preview them in Learn the four sounds before starting.
- Listen to the first three-note sequence. Pads stay still during playback, so follow the sounds rather than a flashing pattern.
- Press the pads in the order you heard. You can begin answering while the melody plays. In solo play, keyboard keys 1–4 also work.
- A completed answer submits automatically. Each correct sequence is followed by a five-second review, then the same sequence plays with one extra note at the end.
Try an example
Hear the example after learning the four sounds, then try to recall its order.
You hear the low sound, then upper middle, then lower middle. Which pads repeat the melody?

Show example answer
Press 1, 3, 2: circle, square, triangle.
Order matters. Pressing 1, 2, 3 uses the same three pads but changes the melody. A later round keeps 1, 3, 2 at the start and adds another note.
Scoring and modes
Solo is an endless memory run, rather than a daily challenge. Your score is the length of the longest sequence you completed correctly, not a sum of all notes pressed. Completing three notes and missing the next four-note sequence leaves a score of three.
One wrong pad ends a solo run. There is no answer timer, and Listen again lets you rehear the current sequence before committing. Try a fresh run to improve your personal best.
Head-to-head uses the same growing sequence for both players, for up to ten rounds. A missed sequence or timeout ends the match after review. More correct sequences wins; tied performances use response time on correctly completed sequences. Ranked play has no pauses or replays and has its own Melody memory rating.
